Leasingham 99 Classic Clare Cab - The Classic Clare is one of my fav's & never disappoints....I always enjoy the French oak balance they seem to impart & this didnt let down...still very robust with dusty tannins and good fruit balance with licorice & that Clare mint characteristic that always pops up....
A big wine that really smacks you in the gob....maybe like what Macca wanted to do to Stadler @ the awards dinner @ the Hawaii IM this year...actually maybe it was mutual...but this wine still has years of greatness ahead...a bit like both the athletes :)

ps...gotta keep these tasting notes shorter !
